Cops Nab Suspect Charged with Stabbing Man in 8th Ave./50th St. Subway Station on Dec. 30.
A suspect was taken into custody two and a half hours after an early morning stabbing incident in an upper West Side subway station.

A 23 year old man was arrested for allegedly stabbing a man on an Upper West Side subway platform at 1:21 in the morning on Dec. 30.
Orsen Reyes was arrested two and ahalf hours after allegedly stabbing a 48 year old man on the northbound subway platform at 8th Ave. and 50th St.
He was charged with assault and criminal possession of a deadly weapon. At the time of this report, the suspect was still in police custory and had yet to appear before a judge.
The victim who suffered multiple lacerations was taken to an area hospital and was listed in stable condition, a police spokesperson said. The police had no further info as to what was behind the incident and whether it was a robbery attempt or an argument that turned violent.
The suspect was arrested by police some two and ahalf hours after the attack which occured in the mid-town north precinct. The identity of the victim was not released.
