Doors in Living Color

The classic Crayola box has eight colors inside it - red, blue, yellow, green, orange, purple, brown and black. A few weeks ago, I set up a challenge: go on a scavenger hunt for eight doors on the Upper East Side with those colors. Brown and black ones, of course, are ubiquitous; I found several on every block I walked down. Red, blue, and green ones were easy to spot too. But, orange, yellow, and purple doors? Not so much. Here’s a look at the results.
