Shades Shoplifted

A man was arrested for shoplifting swanky sunglasses. At 3:19 PM on Monday, September 2, a police officer was informed by store security at a luxury department store on Madison Avenue that a 43-year-old man was in possession of a pair of stolen sunglasses. The man was searched, and two additional pairs of sunglasses were recovered from his underwear. The total value of the three pairs of sunglasses amounted to $1,390. The man was arrested September 2 and charged with grand larceny.
